How NOT To Reduce Debt

If you're experiencing out-of-control debt, then you know you've considered just about everything to make it go away. Still, in the name of decency, sanity and safety, you know there are things you just don't do—like involve your kids in a drug deal.

A 35-year old mother in California brings her two youngest boys, 3 and 6 respectively, to work with her one day (she has a total of eight kids...we guess the older ones were at school or can care for themselves). While the price of childcare is soaring just like everything else, there are just certain things you don't expose your kids to. Selling crack happens to fall at the top of the list.

A police surveillance video caught the woman with her children in the car while she conducted the transaction. In fact, she even allowed the buyer to have a conversation with her youngest while she slid him the baggie and he slid her money. No word yet on her reasoning, but most people in that line of work are looking for a quick buck, according to some police sources. Perhaps this mom really needed the money and couldn't find any other way.

This story certainly brings new meaning to the phrase, "desperate times call for desperate measures," but we're pretty sure the person who coined it didn't mean for parents to take their kids with them on drug deals.
