Sure, the dollar is down, the cost of oil is up and some analysts say the U.S. is in for a recession. You might be thinking this is a terrible time to start a business , but you might be wrong.

As long as you can find funding and you have a solid business plan, Bartman says you can be just as successful now as in any booming time in our economy.
