Benefits of a Recession

Sure, the dollar is down, the cost of oil is up and some analysts say the U.S. is in for a recession. You might be thinking this is a terrible time to start a business , but you might be wrong.

Bill Bartman, a self-made billionaire and "serial entrepreneur" says that people who can stand strong in tough economic times and build solid companies will be the ones to reap the benefits. As long as you can find funding and you have a solid business plan, Bartman says you can be just as successful now as in any booming time in our economy. He said this is also a good time to get inexpensive office furniture from companies that are going out of business, and you might have access to a better talent pool.

So if you're discouraged by the tough economic outlook, keep on truckin' and start your business. You might just win out in the end! [Fox Business]
