Remember back in high school when your mom used to write you a note for your teacher when you were late? Well, now adults can have excuse notes, too. The New York City Transit division actually sends out notes for passengers who were late because of delays. There's no word on whether other city's have this official policy, but it doesn't hurt to ask!
