Life After Disaster

Kristy101081

It's not something you'll be thinking about when you're running for your life, so think of it beforehand and be prepared. At some point after the disaster, you're going to have to repair your life. The best thing to do is have everything in one place and easy to get to.

Have copies of financial records, house documents, life insurance policies, medical records, drivers license, social security card, or any other important documents in a file that is kept with your emergency exit kit. When you're told to evacuate, if those copies are with you, you'll have an much easier time coming back and rebuilding your life.
