Coping with Alzheimer’s Disease

Caring for a family member with Alzheimer’s disease is incredibly challenging. Sometimes Alzheimer’s patients will sleep all day, and be up all night, or have strange food preferences, wanting to wear the same clothes for days on end. Sometimes they might know you and recall memories you’ve made together, and other times, treat you like a total stranger.  It’s very hard to watch someone you love slip away into Alzheimer’s grip.
