Walk Heart Disease Away

If you’re barely getting any physical activity in a day, you could be doubling your risk for a heart attack. Fight the urge to loaf on your sofa and get walking!

The American Heart Association is designating today, April 16th, as National Start! Walking Day. All you have to do is start walking, for at least 30 minutes today and every day to live a healthier lifestyle and evade a possibly deadly health diagnosis.

Not only will you reduce your risk of getting heart disease, but regular walking can also improve your blood pressure, help you lose weight, fight off depression, and reduce your risk for osteoporosis, breast and colon cancer.

What are you doing still reading this? Get up and do some walking!
