Beach Boys and Girls

Warm May days can only mean one thing—summer is right around the corner. Are you going to be the one hiding under an umbrella this year, or will you be the one looking fit and playing volleyball on the beach?

Even though it’s May 7th, you can absolutely get in shape in time for the summer. Greg Joujon-Roche, fitness trainer to the stars and a contributor to Msnbc.com’s Fit List, has some tips for getting a beach body in no time:

* A good fitness regimen always starts with a healthy diet and a good amount of cardio exercise. Try to make that your focus over the next month.

* Women should focus on toning and tightening exercises that target general problem areas, including your triceps, lower stomach and butt. Women should strive for that lean, toned look that men go crazy for.

* Men should focus on strength training moves that target their shoulders, obliques and calves. These are your manly muscles! If you want the ladies to swoon, these are the body parts to focus on.

* Above all, attitude is everything! If you’re confident in your daily life, you’ll be confident on the beach.

We want to hear from you. What are you doing to get in shape for the summer? [Msnbc.com]
