Exercise Helps Cancer
A cancer diagnosis is life altering. But instead of slumping on the couch and dwelling, keep your mind off of your heath concerns with exercise. Staying in shape not only improves the way you look, but the way you feel.
Exercise, along with treatment, may help prevent cancer recurrence and improve survival odds, according to research at the University of Alberta in Canada. The study also found that exercise reduces the fatigue often experienced by cancer survivors. And having cancer makes an individual more susceptible to other sicknesses, so staying fit and keeping a strong immune system will lead to healthier life—post cancer.
