Get Your Drink On
It's Friday night, and all you can think about is that giant, strawberry margarita that you want from your local mexican restaurant. What most people forget is that one margarita is probably close to 1,000 calories. Yikes!
You don't have to ingest large amounts of sugar and empty calories to get a buzz. Try opting for healthier drink choices that won't derail your fitness plan. Stay away from cream-based liquors or mixed drinks, as they will likely pack the biggest caloric punch. Experts also suggest opting for a spritzer instead of a full glass of wine.
And if you really want to try something different, try making your own healthy drinks.
