Weight-Loss Inspiration
Often, hearing about another person’s weight loss success can be hugely motivating in your own attempts to lose weight. That’s why USA Today is highlighting people who have lost weight every Monday in their annual Weight-Loss Challenge.
This week, they’re focusing on Diane Reuter, a mother of five children from Richwood, NJ, who has lost more than 145 pounds over two years and has managed to keep it off. She changed her food choices, increased her exercise and got her husband and her kids into it as well.
"The most important tool in this process is your brain,” she tells the paper. “I didn't look at it as a situation where I was depriving myself, but instead as a situation where I was feeding my body good food."
She also inspired her husband to lose nearly 100 pounds, and they both work as umpires for softball games. How’s that for hitting a weight loss home run? [USA Today]
