Question:Is there a way to manage low blood pressure?

Answer:

As with high blood pressure, there are definitely ways to help manage low blood pressure. The first step, of course, is to check with your doctor and try to figure out what's causing the low blood pressure. It could be caused by a number of reasons, like blood loss or dehydration (though your doctor can discuss the longer laundry list with you). Some of the treatments include pharmaceutical medications, increasing your salt intake, increasing your fluid intake, etc. Again, I can't stress how important it is to see a doctor and establish baseline blood pressure numbers - ones that are normal for you on a day to day basis - and then work with your doctor to come up with treatment plan that will prove both safe and effective.

Best of luck!
