"I am very taken by Ariane's concept and the philosophy of the website. In any case, I just loved the idea and am glad to chance upon it while reading Oprah." -Marion

Praise iPod!

Let your ears take a break from ultra loud beats and your favorite comedy sketches. Use your iPod a different way—for that dose of spirituality you’ve been having trouble squeezing in.

Broadcasting religious ceremonies is hardly a new idea—you can hear preaching on the radio or watch a full mass on TV. Whether it is a supplement to your weekly religious or spiritual practice, or even for meditating, adding these podcasts to your playlist makes the experience even more accessible for those constantly on the go. Multiple web sites have thousands of free podcasts aimed for followers of many faiths, so search for what you are interested in and download to iTunes. Or you can even search right on iTunes.

Some sites enforce stricter screening policies for podcasts than others, so do some research if you are worried that the messages will be inappropriate, not family-oriented or even truly related to your religion. And while don’t need an iPod to listen, wouldn’t it be great to add some enlightenment to your daily commute? After all, you’ll need some peace of mind to deal with all those grumpy morning people… [USA Today]
