Downloading apps for your iPhone or iPod Touch is fun and addictive. But it can be daunting and slow. Instead of trying to browse and download them from your device, just fire up iTunes on your computer and search the iTunes store. Download them to your computer first and then sync your iPod!

Good tip. I assume if you purchase from the ipod, the app is sync'd back to the mac just like music purchases.
