Do you buy lottery tickets?
So much of what we want to do as individuals relative to pursuing our dreams requires money. As a society we often joke about what we will do after "we've won the lottery"
I wonder if this mentality is unique to America and Americans.
I haven't won anything for over 18 years, but I can still wish for it too happen again. Of course that means I would have to actually go out and play a number. I did that 3 weeks ago, put the number away somewhere for safe keeping, and can't remember where that 'Safe keeping Place' is. But, I am sure at some point I will find the ticket, and if it won, I will know then. What I really want to win, and I do submit too often, and I know it is far fetched, is 'Publishing Clearing House.' I won't hold my breath though, waiting. Just a Dream. But it would be exciting to have the 'Crew' Show up at my door, with that check. Actually, they do owe me, cause I am always buying something from them. It's fun anticipating the WIN!
Yes...and isn't it just as easy to win $5 as it is to win the whole jackpot?
Incidentally, I have never won, but...
Yes! I know I will win soon too as long as it is the Lord's will for me and my dreams to come true. (MY dreams anyways!)
WHEN IT IS THE RIGHT TIME FOR YOU TO WIN, YOU WILL. IF THERES A WILL THERES A WAY!
I am in a group here at work. We have been playing for about 8 months. We would like to win!!
I think its nice to dream and hey why not dream big!
I rarely do...and have never been the type to do so. Of the times rrecently that I have, obviously I have not won anything more than $5.
I tell myself that it will be so much more satisfying to make my dream a reality on my own rather than having it land at my feet.
As for whether it is more a North american mentality, I have no idea
