All I can share is that, I have fibromyagia too and am just 8 years behind you.  I am in the beginning stages of reinventing myself.  I have taught in classrooms for 15 years and it is dawning on me that I may not be able to keep that up.  With budget cuts many of us got laid off.  So now I am considering opening a pilates studio to help myself and others who are in pain.  There has got to be a "way" for us to make a living; just keep you "will" to find your way.  Whatever you do, don't give up.  You can over come this in spite of the situation.  You might have the disorder, but the disorder does not have you.  God Bless; Keep your Faith.

KandiKate,

I just noticed your post made 21 days ago. Thank you for making it. I am overweight and in so much pain but I agree with your statements of courage and the desire to keep trying. We can overcome as long as we don't give up.
