Stow your phone when you're in the car
One way to resist the temptation to text while driving is to put your phone where you can't reach it, like your backpack, and wait until you get to your destination to make a call or send a text. It's much safer!

I was just reading about something Ford Motor Co. is doing called MyKey that lets parents program certain aspects of the driving experience for their children ... like how fast they can drive or how loud they can play the radio.
Of course, my feeling is that young people should not have to have these kinds of measures imposed on them, but if it saves even one young life, then I guess I'm in favor of these controls.
