YES. It has been a week since i started meditating and its an inner urge that prompts me to mediatate everyday even if it is for short interevels.
Meditation is like a prayer. I meditate through prayer all during the day, Some days less and somedays more.This practice, for me, is very helpful and a stress reliever. I think anyone can learn to relieve stress through meditation. Once you start meditation five minutes a day can be beneficial. Then you begin to progress from there.
