Pema Chodron
Chodron teaches others about meditation and how it can be applied to everyday life. She is well known for her interpretation of Tibetan Buddhism for Western audiences. She has written several books, including When Things Fall Apart: Heart Advice for Difficult Times. Pema is a resident teacher at the first Tibetan monastery for Westerners, Campo Abbey in Nova Scotia.

Sharon Salzberg
Salzberg learned at a young age to use meditation to deal with personal suffering. She studied in India and now leads retreats worldwide, along with non-residential programs, workshops and classes. In 1976, Salzberg worked with Joseph Goldstein and Jack Kornfield to create the Insight Meditation Society (IMS) in Barre, MA. She is also a contributing editor for O: The Oprah Magazine.

Tara Brach, Ph.D.
Brach is a clinical psychologist and the author of Radical Acceptance: Embracing Your Life with the Heart of a Buddha. She founded the Insight Meditation Community of Washington in 1998 and lived for 10 years and taught yoga and meditation in an ashram, a yoga spiritual community. Brach travels, teaching and speaking about meditation at retreats and classes.
