Beat stress with exercise, not smoking
I find that I really want to smoke when the s&^% hits the fan...so I try to go for a walk, run, jump around, etc. first. It usually kills the craving and I don't end up having a cigarette.

That's really worked for me these past few weeks when the market was tanking. All i could do was get on the elliptical and go for like an hour.
