The greatest power in all of creation to help stop smoking is turning the addiction over to God and asking Him to help you minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day to be set free from the bondage of smoking. There are so many reasons why to quit but unless you've walked in the shoes of someone who is addicted, you will never know how hard it is. Renewing your mind and filling it with positive thinking, avoiding the triggers that make you smoke and the support of friends and family is critical to breaking the habit. Pray with your spouse for help. Believe you can do this. Do it for yourself, not someone else. With God's help, you can make it happen and begin a life of health and freedom from the bondage of smoking.
