Make your Mac even more secure

stevewhardin

Although Macs are very secure, at least for now it is always a good idea to turn on your Mac Firewall especially when you use a wifi hotspot. To turn it on go to the Apple menu and choose security. There is a tab called Firewall and choose to only allow essential services. This will make you much more secure and put your mind at greater ease.

Absolutely. Positively. Apple should turn this on by default when you roam to a non-trusted net.
