Just like regular house-cleaning, cleaning up your computer isn't exactly fun, but you should still do it. My mac started slowing down and realized I was almost out of memory. So, I I went through Downloads, Documents and iPhoto and started deleting. You'd be surprised at how many things get left around in folders and on your desktop.
